I'm looking for a really good multiplayer PS2 game. Ideally, a game where 2 people can play along a nice story line together via split screen. Any recommendations?

Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Best of the series, AMAZING multiplayer. When people lack halo in their lives for multiplayer, they should get that.

All of the Time Splitters games. All of the Baldur's Gate games (they are GREAT fun multi-player), all of the Ever Quest Legend games (basically bgate enhanced). Then you've got some great fighting games (Tekken Tag), all of the SSX games (they are all brilliant, but I still love SSX 3 the most), the first ATV game is great fun (the second sucked, as does ATV vs. MX). Also for "cute" style puzzle fun Kuri Kuri Mix is *awesome* - you'll need to ebay it, it's rare now, but SO much fun. Oh and Worms Blast, Puzzle Bobble, Puyo Puyo Mix and most of the games in the Capcom Classics collections

Enough for you?

yep, im not sure what consoles it coming out on, but definitely 360.

The only thing im kinda confused about is that they got all the time crystals and got rid of all the splitters, what else can happen in the story?..will be a kick ass online game in virus!!!

How would the story go? Future perfect had a perfect storyline+cool final boss battle... What else would they do?

As for the systems-
Yeah, especially the ps3, the timesplitters games always stuck to sony. I wish it was for the pc too. I thought that company was working on haze right now?

Tenchu 3: Wrath of Heaven
Really, you can't play through the storyline together, but playing split screen, working on missions together, is quite awesome. Sadly, you must unlock various missions by playing through the game - unless you want to be stuck with only one mission to play through, or so.

Definetly awesome game by itself, though. ^^

Timesplitters series obviously, but I quite liked Half Life's co-op mode, tricky but, well it's Half Life in co-op!
