Is it possible/how do I:
-Connect a PS2 to my PC, so that I can have my PS2 running but coming up on my screen in a window.
-Connect a PS2 to my PC monitor directly, I've got a DVI lead and a monitor cable coming from the monitor.

Why would you want to play a ps2 on cpu? A big tv is always better.

Eh, get is "DVD Maker," I prefer the name Video Tuner. Basically, you can have it as a USB, or pci card, and you plug in Composite Cables/S-Video (Standard ones, HD ones are available.) and get a program to read input video, I got one from a disk I got on a motherboard, and you can record, or just play.

I got mine for $20, not the expensive.

Its easy to connect your PS2 to a computer in the manner you want to, but its slow, just slow enough to make it a bit rough to play. I did it to capture some GTA videos and it had a noticeable delay between the time I moved/pressed button until it happened on the screen. And I was running a top video card/computer too, but that was like 3 or 4 years ago.

Video Tuners still have lag.

I use a Composite to VGA converter.

It's not the best quality as the converter has to deinterlace, adjust for time delay causing blurring, then once the signal is recieved by my LCD, it has to be scaled up from 640x480 to 1280x1024.

Having said that, it cost me $30 I think, and it lets me play even my NES on my monitor

I can hook up a Gamecube to my TV Tuner and there is no noticeable lag when I use DScaler.
