is it possible to texture a particular tile in a matrix? I plan to have a vast landscape using matricies....

If I can't do this then it looks like I'll have to join a whole bunch of matricies together each with its own texture map.

I really don't wanna have to do that.

Thanks in advance,

Read the manual. Look under "Prepare matrix texture" and "set matrix tile" in the "Matrix Commands" section.

Set matrix tile m,x,z,t

Should suffice

M is matrix
X, Z are position
T is tile (as defined is set matrix texture)

Thanks - I was at work so I didn't have access to the DBP manual... although, I've installed DX9 on my work machine so I am gradually getting DBP on there.

I used the texture from http://www.darkbasic.com/create/bm_tutorials/3dbasics/matrices.htm

and I get lines surrounding the texture as if DBP isn't quite cropping the image correctly. Anyone know of a work around?

Thanks

try the command set matrix
but I don't remimber which number you have to give to it .. try with the filter

But changing the filter flag means I have a blocky, horrible un-filtered texture on the ground.

incidentally, setting the filter flag in SET MATRIX to a high value causes a BSOD in XP.
