I need someone to test this little app to see if the menus work properly with Windows Vista (any version.) As many people have pointed out, CodeSurge has difficulty with the menus in Vista.

I'm trying a different method for the menus, but need some Vista users to test this to see if it works before I waste a lot of time on something that doesn't do any good.

If it does work, then you can expect an updated version of CodeSurge that works properly with Vista without any compatibility settings.

Download is attached. Thanks.

Works correctly using Vista ultimate 32-bit with Aero enabled.

Theory is when you know something, but it doesn't work. Practice is when something works, but you don't know why.
Programmers combine theory and practice: Nothing works and they don't know why.

Quote: "Are the buttons supposed to do anything?"

No, I'm just testing to see if the menus appear quickly with Vista.

Did you see any menus across the top?

Yeah, no worries on Vista Ultimate 32bit with Aero. I like how the menu fades out when you select a button.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
