I recently got Advanced Terrain and used the example code to start a game I am making. I want to add in a object such as a character and view them in 3rd Person style and walk around etc. Can someone just give me some basic code on how to put a sphere or cube in and the walk around with it in 3rd person?

Here is the code -

Thank you so much in advanced!

So how would I go about adding that function? I kind of needed it in my code I gave you above. I really appreciate it!

Well, your code has no object, so there is no first person, or third person. Only a camera. Does that make sense to you?

Are you wanting to change the camera parameters, perhaps?

Well, I guess it was kind of confusing of what I wanted, but I figured it out. Thanks.

I would not say that you were confused. I think you were just wondering what to do next with the code. I hope you are busy putting a character in there. That helps bring the player into the game more.

Cheers, and always remember we are all here to help if you get stuck.

Yep I know...I have been coding with DBPro for awhile now...I just forgot how to do something and I figured it out...Now I am just working on the collision with the terrain using GET TERRAIN GROUND HEIGHT() command. It just has been awhile since I have coded in DB and I am getting back into it
