Hello everybody,

I start to make my owmn segment with the FPSC-segments. I create a simple wall (juste one rectangle) and his texture. I followed the video tutorial, but, when I test it in FPSC, corner of the walls are invisble.
I tried a lot of things (make exter walls, triangular corners, etc), but it never works, I always have invisble corner. I become crazy about this, do you know the problem ? Thanks

My guess is that your texture file is not addressed correctly in the 'FPS' file or that you may have forgotton to include the texture files extesion, for example .PNG, .TGA, .BMP
Also delete any .Bin and .Dbo files which carry the same name as your segment before you test it again in FPSC.

I hope this has helped in some way.

OK!!! about the corner problems.

Ok wat i think u should do is mabye create a nother flat rectangular wall x2 BUT make sure that they are both longer than the walls already placed, then on bothe sides of the wall place the longer rectangular wall's on both sides... if u understand wat im tryin to say... if not tuff..

good luk!

for corners you have to include extra geometry (corners), placed facing inwards in the segment editor and make sure that on "calculate visibility" everything looks right-it took me a while to figure out how to get it working but you can always load a segment from the default segments(like the ww2 segments that come with fpscreator) and trash it until you see how this was made...which is exactly the way i learned to use the segment editor apart from the tutorial videos; Just make sure you backup everything you want to rip apart for learning.

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.
