Hi

Sorry for my bad English

I created this game with darkbasic classic, msc++ to vb6 in ten days.
The game hooks the size waveform audio stream that is transmitted by any multimedia player (Winamp, windows media, realplayer, etc. ..) generating according to music, obstacles and the movement of the line that represents the world game .
Each obstacle is associated with a specific key.
I was inspired to an old game called VIB-RIBBON
In my game the blackboard, if you do not do mistakes, color gradually with the scenario, or will be cancelled until game over

this is a video preview
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ5tB5SoUUs

the game is ready, but only one scenary and only four barrier.
I upload from my site next week if my job allows me

I hope like this

Bye

Yes, that game was one of my first experiments with darkbasic before working directly with classes of directx, but we wanted a long time to develop.

Cool! I really like games like this. Rhythm-based, but not necessarily a pure rhythm game like DDR or Beatmania IIDX (although those are still fun). Can't wait until you upload this game.

I get "System Error: Severe Exception!" during loading.

Give me an ounce of Puyo, good apothecary, to sweeten my imagination.

that bug is generated by the non-registration of two ActiveX dll, to record manually run this command to run:
regsvr32 [root] \ barabaramizz \ DllSpectrum \ sbridgeSpectrum \ dllSpectrum.dll
regsvr32 [root] \ barabaramizz \ DllSpectrum \ sbridgeSpectrum \ Mp3player.dll

test and tell me about

Extremely impressive, however, it feels as if the music has no influence on the game. Is that how its supposed to be?

the game creates obstacles by the intensity scale of wave taken into sampling every hundredth of a second of audio stream, each peak is running a positive rotation of the line to the right, every metre peak negative makes a rrotazione to the left.
The speed of the game does not follow the frequency of song.

Sorry, my bad English
