Hey, This is my first major game download. I would aprreciate it if people reviewed it. The premise of the game is very simple and cliche, butit works: Youare a proggramer and when something goes wrong you are transported into your own computer and are at the mercy of the master proggram, completing its challanges to try to find a way to escape. In the game itself there are no elements of a story at this time (I was thinking of using loading screens to make the story come across, but maybey I dont even need it, thats something I would like feedback on)
Heres the demo

For this screenshot I tried to go with an electronic feel, hence the blue lighting(a joke to my self about the blue screen of death but I think it works)
More Screenshots in a few minutes. Thanks in advance.

It's really bland, all stock media, not good level design. Work on it some more.

okay thanks for the comment. I started an add on to the level(which should be in a bit) using mostly if not all custom media. inclusing what I like to call the turret room. heres a screenshot.I tried to make it so that the player has to take out the turret to get to the door but also has some cover to crouch behind(hence the table and pillars, thereare a lot more of them but you cant see this from the screenshot). I was also thinking of adding a room I call the tower, its basicly an verticle climb through enemies simalr to this. I am also goign to try to add more switch and key doors to give some variaty. any other ideas, my brain hurts . Its nowhere close to being done but its a start.

It's still a little bland, a few more entities wouldn't hurt but it's definitely looking better.

After some more play testing I decided to make the "turret room" all auto turrets as filling it with enemies was to hard to play through.

Well I'm glad to see that you used mine and maxi studios' old turret. The room still needs a little work but it looks decent.

entities were a little to random, turrets were going through pillers, to bland, Good stock but the video game thing didnt fit. I would suggest retexturing some of your characters using gimp. Also is this is a major game you need a better story line, cheak out the Myricals arc story line, it makes you wont to play the game. I think the story line could end up being really cool you have a good start. Work on your levels though...
