i made a new type in a seperate source file used for storing config settings for a textbox and it worked fine. I then made another type in a third source file and although the type is recognised i get an error saying that none of the fields i used exist. Even though all of them actually do. Is this a bug in pro and is there a way round it?

The source is classified as it is part of Eternal Destiny but i can assure you there is no error in the code itself and no syntax errors either.

You don't want to know how many times I've heard that before.

Well it doesn't make sense that one type works and a second doesn't, I'd compare them to see if you've done anything different. Your analysis reads coding error all over it lol.

Have you tried to reproduce the error in a new project?

Yes we get the same error with the same source files. Should we try new source files with copy/pasting our source code?

I'd suggest so. I've used types heaps of times before but never had something like that happen.

Solved! Our type was named Label which was clashing with something else we had defined probably. We renamed the type and it work!
