Looking to improve my home theater. I currently have a Sony KDS-50A3000 hdtv, 120w/channel Sansui from the 70's(when they were still good) and some really big speakers that were probably bought in the 80's.

I'm currently considering a Denon A/V receiver with B&W speakers. Other brands I should consider in a similar price range that you think out-performs these? I'd like to know if anyone has experience with Mirage speakers.

I've decided on a Denon 3808. Was going to get a 2808, but that doesn't have the fancy on-screen menus (plus it has a few extra connections).
