Hello everyone,

I've created a simple interior and saved it in 3D World Studio.
I then exported it as a DBO file in the same directory as my Game.

I load it in, but none of the textures will render, just white on the inside.

Here's what my code looks like for that part

I hope someone can help me out here!

Thanks in advanced,

Two things that you must ensure for that to work are:
1. Don't use any of the textures that come with 3DWS, as they are in an unsupported undocumented proprietary format.
2. Copy the textures to your project folder. It is best to export the .DBO straight into your project folder in the first place.

Thanks jinzai!
I am actually currently using those textures. But I'll just get them in another format. Will BMP work? What file format should I use for textures. And should these textures be in the 3D World Studio's existing textures folder in order for it to load them?

Thank you so much,

Yes. BMP works, and TGA, JPG, PNG.

Yes, any textures you want to use in 3DWS should go in your 3DWS Materials folder. It helps to create a MyTextures folder so that you don't get them mixed up with the other textures that you can't use with DBPro.

Thanks KISTech!
Works perfect now, I was having some lighting trouble but I turned off the light thing in my code and it works perfect now.

One more question. How do I work with collision? Do I need to alter something in my 3D Model?

Thanks in advance,

I WISH he made directory customizable in 3DWS! So I could have ONE DIR of textures for development and game testing versus many
