what do you guys think of my space cloud? i was trying to make my first texture and ended up with this LOL. i think it is pretty cool, i used paint.net which is a free texture making program.

what is shut down suposed to mean? i know it is nothing special i just thought it was neat. sorry i am not the master of computer graphics everyone else seems to think they are.

Ah lighten up a little, so the guy was excited about the progress he made from a tutorial, we get this all of the time in 3D chat (or at least used to, I've neglected 3D chat for a while), newbies attempting something they haven't been accustomed with before. Though I do think, do a bit more and return for comments.

WTF IS WRONG with you people ?????? the guy obviously wants to share his progress in PhotoShop or whatever .... just encourage him or criticize in a decent manner but wtf is this "oh I'm so smart so you'd better thank me for not flaming you" attitude ??? grow up "i'm past 12, going 13" dude !!! or better yet we'll react the same when you think you've made something neat ... just cause u do it better or just cause it has been done 100 times before doesn't take one's right of doing it again ya know

Somebody needs to take a chill pill!

The problem is that if everybody starts making threads with little or no effort put into them, boards will start to become swamped.
A lot of threads are starting to turn into:

Also most of the time people don't make it into a link, giving the impression they really can't be bothered.

Yes we have all been there, made pointless threads when we were new, but its the flamers who set them on track. My old threads are full of pointless crap etc, If it weren't for flamers I would probably have posted more crap.
