If you've even remotely started learning about scripting, then you'd know that what you're asking for has been one of the most annoying questions ever to hear on this board.

The answer is:

Yes, I do have a moving tank script.

No, you cannot get some help with this, because in order for it to work properly, you would need V1.07 of my Mod, which isn't released yet since it's still in development.

Of course, you could always try the "movefore" command in a script and attach it to your tank. That might give some mediocre results.

Wrong. Use "follownorotate.fpi" put some waypoints down, maybe remove floor logic and set model offset at 50 if you wish. Even better, animate treads moving and play the animation. (Edit the script). However, I have a feeling that's out of your ability.

And Plystire, stop bragging and making me jealous of your modding skills

Slayer222 is correct

You don't need some fancy script to get a vehicle to move around properly. All you need to do is:

- laydown some waypoints in your map.
- place any entity e.g. tank over the first waypoint
- ensure the entity is set to dynamic and physics set to 'No'
- ensure AI main for entity is 'follownorotate'

Enjoy your moving tank!. You can change the entity speed etc as required.

Whoops! My bad! I was under the assumption that he wanted to be able to control it with keystrokes! You know, just like every other vehicle thread that's been made here.

@Slayer:

Not bragging. Stating a fact. (Which more falls under "opinion" now that I realise he isn't talking about a player controlled tank, lol)

@Nomad:

Thank you for clearing that up, formatting it and all, and making it easier to read/understand.
