PLEASE REEAD THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE YOU REACT.

I know that, generally, team requests are not allowed. However, I have occasionally heard people say that they ARE allowed, IF you have made enough progress by yourself. I have heard users saying that, if you have a short demo, and/or screenshots, and/or some other proof of decent progress, you CAN post team requests. Is this at all true? I just want to know if I'm allowed to post a team request once I have a decent demo.

The main thing is to post your team request in an actual WIP thread, like get your demo and screens together and get some interest in your project, then ask for people to help. It's vital though to get a project that people will want to be part of, it's not a case of it having to look good, really it just has to be interesting for people to want to get involved.
