I was on facebook, it told me I was a winner a 1 of 12 giveaways, usually I ignore such crap because they're BS, but I clicked it as it wasn't where the ads usually are on facebook, thinking it was a facebook thing...took me to another site that just needed my contact details in order to send my so-called 'prize'.

I'm wondering if this is all legit?
Perhaps one of you wise lot know.

I feel I'm being stupid here, but then there's the off chance I'm not.

[edit] the link there isn't the prize, it's just the main URL from my facebook link

I just realised what it was... Ignore me, or publicly humiliate me. Or a lock and a slap on the wrists to keep it clean.

Continue to ignore them.

Yeah, I know what they are now, a stupid system where you're probably better off just working a couple extra hours/getting a job to get the 'amazing free prize'. But hey we're all fooled by one of these sooner or later, right? (I hope)

There you have it guys, seppuku is not perfect. He's not the machine we all thought he was.

But we all have those moments.

I'm afraid to admit it, but one time I actually thought that people that lie publically and as a result many dies or something bad happens, would not get away with it. But alas, I was wrong.

Bad people win because they play dirty. That's not what the cartoons I watched trough my early years demonstrated.

You are a brainless person who has no good feature. I beg to never meet you in person. Cheers. Kidding, of course. Never put trust in a page where a good looking person fills more than ten percent of its on-screen area, mainly if the person looks rested and relaxed. Also, the "I agree" check box is checked when you open the page. What would the next step be? I tell you: you would give your address and your family's timetable to them. Take care, son. Take care.

I don't even bother clicking on those, there's no way any one would randomly give stuff away completely free. At least you're not one of the fools who actually go through with it; if they didn't exist we wouldn't have adds like that or even spam emails.

Yeah, this one caught me off guard, because it was on Facebook and on the right bit of the page, I thought perhaps facebook were doing prize give aways associated with linked website. You know, as it's become very popular.

Oh but I am, it was a fashionably late April fools joke, perfect timing meant you the fool. It always counts if it's fashionable, or so TV tells me.
