Hi everyone, I am a new user, and after having roamed over the Forums, and after having read some guides (from various other members such as Nikydude's collection of guides http://www.madladdesigns.co.uk/fpsc/fpschintsntips.pdf) I though I should be creating my own HUB. I also saw a script on a talking NPC script. I have therefore two questions:

1. How should I 'draw' the HUB?
I have read that you can change the position of the default HUB in a percentage of the screen (x,y), but what I actually do not know is: what should the Width, Height of, for example, the new Life HUB, or the Ammo be? I use GIMP, but I wanted to know usually how large they should be: 20x20pixel? I have no Idea on where to start... Any suggestions?

2. I have read about the Talking NPC script written by Benjamin Aeilkema. He states that for the text, I have to load an image with it:

Same as the question before, I would like to know if anybody had a suggestion on the length and width of this text1 image.

Thanks in advance for any help.

1) The width and height of your HUD doesn't make a difference. The way FPSC positions it on screen by the center of the image, so wherever you tell it to go that's where the center of your image will be.

2) Again, dimensions don't matter. You can have it as big or as small as you want.

Experiment a little with them adn find out what works best for you.
