Hi everyone. I just bought this version of FPS creator. I noticed that there was a Script bank in different locations on my pc: one in the folder just like in FPS creator, one in MY documents,:

1.C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator X10\Files\FPSC X10 Files\scriptbank
2.C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\FPSC X10 Files\scriptbank

I inserted a script, and only from teh 2. directory, I was able to give it to a character. My question was where should I save all my scripts? Entities? Meshes? And what about HUDs? WHich is the default folder for the Huds? My script should recall 3 different huds, but I have tried in different locations, and they do not appear.

I guess there is some strange folder configuration for the FPSC x10 FILE...

Well hope you understand my problem and can help me solve it.

I feel for you. The two directories are certainly confusing. I have not been able to play around with x10 very much yet, and I can't offer any help.

Well thanks anyways, I was starting to think it was my singular problem. The fact is that the script works fine with FPSCreator normal: the huds load, but in x10 this does not happen. The Huds are not loaded.

If anyone knows what is the directory to load huds (load huds from scripts) could he\she please let me know. I will praise you !

Have you installed the newly updated model packs?

I think that the model packs make all those extra folder structures other than the FPSCx10 folder in the File directory.

The reason for the extra directories in user folder is so you can edit your script files freely without interference from Vista's UAC. Makes it easier to edit/save scripts, audio, and images without having to save them in a folder then copy them to the program files folder. As Vista blocks you from directly saving to the program files folder.

Hope this helps explain the need for the 2 sets of folders.
