Legion is looking good, but even the title screams "STARSIEGE: TRIBES" to me. Now, that's a good thing, don't get me wrong. Tribes was awesome.

Those trailers got me interested, darn, that looks fun!

It'd be a long time until games can compete with Tribes again. Tribes is a bit like Deus Ex, and Metal Gear Solid - games that kick everyone in the balls, and after that are never successfully imitated. It seems that the only series actually getting better at this time is Grand Theft Auto.

Favorite has to be Rokkitball. Rokkitball ftw. The new racer title, BLUR, seems awfully cool as well. I might even spend a few euros on the arena packs for Rokkitball.

Galcon is awesomely cool too, but it costs money to play in multiplayer mode. That's bad.

Legions is by far the best. It's cool because sometimes you can squeeze over twenty people in one game. If only they made more maps...

I got totally addicted to Legions when I signed up last week, it was crazy. I became pretty good at it too. Then I became uber busy this week.

and about galcons pay to play...the IA forums are complaining cause its pay to play...it may go away it may not...all i know is that you get 3 free plays a day

Rokkitball I didn't find fun. It was kind of annoying and it was extremely repetitive. I feel there isn't a whole lot of room to improvise strategy in that game, that's why I think it sucks.

Hah, you missed a lot if you can't find strategy. Without extremely sharp passes and great aim you simply won't be able to win. Learning to use the bots to your advantage is important too.

Rokkitball is the game after Galcon that requires the most tactics, followed by Legions.

marble blast is my fav...but none of you have played metal drift..which is a game coming to IA but is in closed beta. Very fun game. There is also a dogfighting(plane) game coming out.

That's not strategy, that's skill. That's like the difference between theory and execution. I prefer games that have a healthy combo of both, like Legions. There are a lot of different strats you can run, but it takes skill as well. You may be right, but I guess it's just not my taste

Believe me, strategies enough.

You can take the outer ring in the normal arena, but you'll be slow and most likely need the speed belts to reach anywhere near the other goal. You can go through the middle and have more chance to get blasted.

You can play on counter, defensive, offensive, one man in the middle, two men in the middle, AOTB (all on the ball!) or just go and play.

Now, dodging a missile shot by me, thát is skill.

@Sid Sinister- yeah i have yet to play it yet...i was the first person to get in the CB and im pretty sure im still the only one. lol, get active on the forums...they have links and stuff how to get in closed betas and stuff...like im in 3 of the CB for 3 games coming to IA

What they really need is a vent server running to coordinate strats better. That goes for any game.

Another thing I think they should add is a ranking system for players. I think it would be great motivation for people to play longer if they kept ranking up you know? I always liked that sort of stuff.

On a side note, has anyone figured out how to return to the game lobby (where you see the player list) from the normal website? I always have to leave the party and find my way again. Did they forget to add a return to party button or something?

@sid- if you have any suggestions just go on their forums...all the game devs and stuff go on there and look everyday basically. Some players have vent servers for legions..and most games are gonna get leaderboards and voice chat!
