I have created a desk, which allows me to interact with it just fine when puuting other objects along side it. However, when the player tries to move alongside, it seems to have box collision set, rather than the polygon collision I specified. I want to be able to walk righ up to the centre of the desk area. Does anyone know why this is a problem?

I thought it might be the concave nature of the model, so I unwelded everything, saved it and tried again with no luck.

I see you have static set in fpi
You may have set dynamic in the map editor.

WOW! A mod is asking US for help! It should be the other way round!

make it dynamic, give it a no-collision script, then create another static copy of the model, with no texture.

Can you explain what that achieves? I'm a little concerned about duplicating every desk, there will be dozens of them.

well, make the one you have dynamic, and add a no-col script. Then make an exact copy, only with the default script, invisible texture, and static. Then place th dynamic version directly over the static one.

OK - It's fixed. Something must have been cached, because it seems that unwelding the vertices on the model fixed it. The fix just came through on a delay.

Thanks for the help in any case.
