I thought that in x10 we could make plates and boxs and items like that set them to static and piece together our buildings easyly here is some reasons why

1.They would be incredebly easy to retexture

2.we get more free building design

3. no source mods required

4. there could be wire frame ,metal ,glass ,wood ,ect

5. we could make little forts

so many possibilities !!!!

Perhaps, but the variety of shapes and such would be a con.

Perhaps building blocks like lego pieces, but that would be hard computationally and such.

thats what i mean but like false walls except in different textures and sizes and boxs 2

Yeah its a funny effect...i already tried to make something like that.

And i think i'll work on something similiar...maybe with some different shapes.
Plain models, roofs, doors, stairs, windows, etc etc...

yeah great idea cheese cake but unfortunatly i cant model but we could script these items to act like they were segments eg the window opens or the door opens

This is possible the best Idea you came up with
I'll try and do some entity models, maybe 100 diffent types, and easy to retexture, well yo wont have high detail at all, just some crappy blue bits of cement or somthing, so you'll need to have a tool to easliy make texture's, maybe genetica or texturemaker, or woodworkshop...

either way I'll get down onto it someday, but I dont know if they will
be x10 combatipale, dont have x10 you see, but it may work.

They do something like this in Cryengine 2.
It would be great to have something like this in because then you could make destructible buildings like in Crysis and such.

Easy, what you do is use a DDS to JPG converter, an then use a tool to Skin/Texture that DDS, after that you run it through again but this time its JPG to DDS.
and then you're done, DDS is just a diffrent type of picture file that holds invisibillity in Pure black spots, thats 000/000/000(?).
