"sentance"

What does that say? I can't read it Mouse, help me out here .

I am working for a small software company who make software to integrate legacy systems (or sommit) with windows. I skived it today cos I had a music exam, but I think I'm meant to be designing interfaces in VB and doing a bit of dhtml programming for something or other. It'll become clear tomorrow anyway.

haha,

It was perl programming, first time using the language. Got a whole events calendar working in one week, allowing for 6 hours of football, 4 hours of Tec Expo 2002 and then 2 days helping out at Diddy Delights Of Science. And the first week was spent HTMLing and researching some stuff (like the coffee machine, and the 2mbit internet and the server rooms ))

Heh, on my work experience I mainly did Lotus 123 programming. Arf. Those were the days. Damn Excel.... oh, and Q-Basic. Or was it GW-Basic. Grief. Too long ago....

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Lol, I hate Perl - now why would a language restrict you to ONLY using lowercase characters? That's just stupid.

I did work experience for the IT department of a company over here that no one will have heard of. They're pretty large though and sponsor lots of sporting teams and stadiums. In any case, they had a huge intranet I had to help program in ASP... and then there was a 120 page manual I had to convert to HTML in Frontpage. It wasn't too bad though.

ASP is crap, i mean to use ASP on Linux you need PERL, please explain the thinking behind that?
