Pandora.com is an awesome online 'radio' site. You just punch in a band or song name and it returns a random playlist of similar music. Couldn't be easier and is pretty accurate. Sorry if I've been under a rock, I dunno how long it's been around but I just was told about it and I really like the service. Completely free to listen, no ads or anything.

Pandora is only available in the U.S., unfortunately. I quite enjoyed that site when it was open to everyone.

Used to listen to it, but it's US-only now. I use last.fm instead nowadays .

So THAT's the site I see my friend on all the time in class. Nice site! I use Rhapsody to listen and transfer music to my MP3 Player, but I'll probably be using Pandora for listening purposes now, since I like how it auto mixes to things it thinks I like.

How can that do all that for free?
