Hey,

I recently posted about my Minigame Project in the FPSC Showcase.

I`ve added a link to screenshots, so I don`t know why it has been locked.

Is it because I havent got any demo?

Well, if this is the case, would a mod move it in the Product Chat board? That would be nice

Bye the way, the link to the post

Would a mod move it, please?

Also expect your signature to be removed. The maximum dimensions are 600x120.

I will replace it with a smaller version tomorrow

Too tired to work with Paint Shop Pro now

Edit: So, they `ve edited my signature, but they haven`t moved my thread?

Why?

Your signature has been erased by a mod

There are technical issues with moving posts. It will be moved when one of us feels brave enough to attempt it!

A General Plea to all Mods

When locking threads\moving threads, please please please post to tell why. This thread shows that many new members are becoming confused when their threads are being locked without notice of why.

Let's analyse this one a bit.
1. A thread in the showcase forum that was showcasing NOTHING got locked.
2. There are 3 sticky posts in that forum that state what can be posted. ('Just a reminder', 'No Screenshot = Post Moderation.' & 'Showcase Rules - No screenshot? Then don't post yet please ...')
3. There is a sticky post in that forum that states 'If your thread has been locked...'

C'mon, be sensible. We aren't here to baby you. If your thread got locked or moved it was probably for a very OBVIOUS AND PREDICTABLE reason.

Again what IanM said is true, also wolf, I belive there is somthing in the rules about the "screens" you showed in the screenshots of the thread, try and not to add them if you are premiering here.
Also you dont need a demo, you can have a video too.

But it only takes 30 seconds to post 'Please read the stickies. Thread locked' and it would avoid confusion like this one.

Actualy, one thing that it may of been locked for is becuase wolf linked us to page 2 of his thread, on page 1 there was uhm... dont know what to say, but a person in a very suggestive manner.

that'll probaly be another reason why the thread was locked.

That is redundant. 99% of you know basic forum etiquette is to read the forum rules and the instructional stickies *before* posting in a group. Most of the time I'll post something if it's not obvious, but when someone makes a thread with one sentence saying he tried to buy cargo pants, it's getting locked with no explanation.

Ok I was going to post something about "The mods have lives etc, Its just a forum etc etc etc"

But decided to draw a little picture instead: (No offense intended to anyone, just a hearty joke)

It is in no way meant to show that all Mods climb hills excessively, or that all non-mods are large, badly drawn and Greyscale.

Its not the end of the world, and besides, most of us are quick to correct other users, so mods really don't need to post an explanation after 10 people have posted "No screens Lockzorz" etc.
