Quote: "This means they were FORCED not to sell controllers with dual shock after a set date without insane fines or settling the dispute. They could NOT have released anything with dualshock until it was settled."
Other than the millions of PS2 controllers they were selling throughout that case, you mean
. And they weren't selling the PS3 when they announced the problems they were having, which makes me think they were generally having technical problems with how it works. I very highly doubt there's some huge lie about anything here. It genuinely sounds like a conspiracy theory, imho.
Quote: "The company that prides itself on innovative design, tech developments, next-generation consoles, the company that made the freaking PS3 : - Could NOT make dualshock work with motion control.... Am I the only one to think this as insane? "
How many problems has NASA had in the space program? They have the smartest people in the world working for them... but they make mistakes (on a different scale of course) all of the time. Just because a company is tech-savvy doesn't mean they're instantly free and clear from making errors or facing complications. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have all had technical issues with new concepts in the past. To immediately assume (and proclaim) that Sony is lying about something without tangeable evidence is nothing short of proof that there are people out there (like the people you got this idea from) who are buying into the anti-Sony hysteria of semi-recent times. Some people are having a hard time coping with the fact that the PS3 is witnessing stronger sales than it was previously, has very few technical issues (especially in comparison to the 360 or the Wii, and the Wii has VERY few technical flaws mind you!), and has really cool games coming out steadily for it.
Give me a second... there, I have my flame-retardant suit on. This one is going to undoubtedly irk someone, I'm sure.
I honestly, truly believe that Nintendo is under-manufacturing and/ or under-shipping the Wii on purpose as a sales ploy, because it sounds cool to say "yeah, we're selling out constantly." My sister, who works at Toy R' Us, says they get about 30 Wii's a month in her store. So here's the question: whose going to agree that this is (in the very least) plausible, and whose going to flame me into next tuesday for pointing out something evil that Nintendo is doing
. Yes, I'm going somewhere with this lol.
