no, I mean this matrix I see what it does apparently but what I don't understand is this: does a matrix behave like any regular mesh ??? I mean can I check for collision with it using OBJECT COLLISION or can I save/export it from inside DBPro ??? cause in short, I don't understand if a matrix is just another primitive like a sphere, cube, etc. (the only difference being that it is a plane and flat terrain) or if it is a mathematical matrix ... cause in my language (Romanian), a matrix is like an array, speaking in mathematical terms thanks a lot WindowsKiller !!!

The commands Get Matrix Height and Get Ground Height return the height of the matrix at a given position.

I was wondering right, because I'm good enough with some stuff but not matrixes. I have never used a matrix but I'm sure they aren't as complicated as they look. I was wondering... Could you make a complicated shaped object (ie. Something that is not terrain like... A landmine, you know how a landmine looks right? Or somethng even more complex) using a matrix. And if you could, would it be bad? Or inefficient?

Happy, always happy!

Not with a matrix because the individual tiles which make up the grid can only be on the horizontal plane. That's why you can't make vertical walls on a matrix.

As the X and Y corner points of each cell must increase on the X and Z axis, you can't bend it back on itself to create complicated shapes - like a cylinder for example.
