Hi guys,
I am sorry if this question is stupid, but is there a way that you can turn off bullet collision for an entity/character? I want objects that you cannot shoot (kinda like ghosts) or shoot through it only. I tried "coloff", but it didn't work.
Thanks a lot.

I think i've got an idea, and it's so smart that my head would explode if I ever began to know what I was talking about.

I don't quite get what you mean:

Do you mean so a bullet hole does not appear when you shoot an object?

Or that it doesn't get destroyed when you shoot it?

He means that you can shoot through the object as if it wasn't there.

For an example of this, think of a hologram. If you shoot it, what's gonna happen?

I don't think you can do this right now. The bullet collision routine is hard-coded and checks all active entities. The only time the bullet won't check an entity is if it's inactive, which means it won't be running it's AI at that point either.

Well, if that's the case then... well I don't care. Guess I'll change the entity so that each time the player shoots, smoke (or nothing) comes out of the entity then...

Thanks a lot for your help Plystire.
