I don't have VISTA. I am currently creating a help file (FPSC commands) that uses the Window's 95 Help compiler. Does anyone know if the created help file (*.hlp) works on VISTA?

i don't have vista either but i quickly found this article at microsoft.com regarding issues and a fix for vista users re: .hlp files.

MS opted to dump WinHlp32.exe and started using HTMLHelp (.chm). here is a link to microsoft's HTMLHelp Workshop.

hope this helps.

Yes, it does help. Thanks for taking the time to search microsoft.com. I really didn't mean for anybody to do that. I was just hoping somebody new something off the top of their heads. Anyway thanks again. You led me to do some more searching. If your old enough have a beer on me.
