last night my i booted up and noticed all the icons in my am history had dissappeared, thinking it was a one off, i put up with it for the day thinking it'd go away next time i reboot and the explorer restarts. I just booted up this morning and the problems stuck, does anyone know what the deal is? i attached a screenshot..

have you tried creating any new icons/shortcuts on the desktop? this might help debug whats going on. you must admit tho, its much cleaner look

ah. I was going to add that maybe all your icons were playing tf2 as spy, and they were cloaked - but that would be stupid. I was really thinking "wow, all them pron sites finally caught up with ol' goorf"

This happened to me once, but seemed to randomly fix itself after a while.

Explorer caches the icons in a separate file which will sometimes become corrupted. Removing the file and restarting explorer will generally fix the problem.
