Ok,so few days ago when i visited thegamecreators and learned about DarkBASIC i got really excited,downloaded few ebooks..but 1 thing keeps bothering me: when i saw the pictures in the web pages,i saw directx8.1 logo!does this mean DarkBASIC doesnt support directx 9,or 10??Or is the image outdated?
Please proove me wrong!

DarkBasic has two kinds.
DarkBASIC Classic and DarkBASIC Professional.

Support of DarkBASIC Classic
DirectX Version 8.1+
DirectX Version 9.0c
and vista

PcRaider is right,but if you have X10 you will need to install DX9.0c. I think they can run side by side though.
There is an X10 version of DB coming, so if you have an X10 card, you may want to hang on for that.

Your signature has been erased by a mod - 340 KB is a little big don't you think?

Reading this reminded me - progs I have produced in DBPro, always produce the error "needs DirectX 9.0c" or similar on some computers, even if they are simple text progs, ie no cameras, sprites etc.

Is there a way of making my programmes work on earlier DirectX versions?
