Hi all im getting a bit frustrated now,
sometimes when i save a file it saves. other times it doesnt, i go to reopen it the next day and its blank!
even if i click the save before closing option etc.

whats annoying is it seems random.

is this a trial version issue?

im giving up untill i get this resolved

It's more likely to be an trial IDE problem. Try updating the IDE.

Are you sure you're saving both project and source file and not just 1? Either way you should still have the *.bak backup file... Right?

Why don't you save yourself a lot of hassle and spend a few minutes reading the help files??

1. Run DBPro.
2. Press F1.
3. Click on Getting Started.

You should read each of the short sections there. You will see all the Save options in the 'Understanding the user interface' section.

I don't think it matters what IDE you are using if you don't know the difference between source files and project files...

One button has a picture of a disk. The other button has a picture of 3 disks. You have to click them both. Do I need to explain the difference between a project and the source?

Actually you only need the click the one with 3 disks, because it's "Save All"

And just a warning...if you compile and run your program, but forget to close it before compiling and running again, I find that it kind of screws things up and your code will no longer save when you press save. I copy all my code, close and reopen DBPro, and then paste my code back in.
