Hmm, well I just found a MIDI I made a while back that I wouldn't mind entering. Unfortunately I'm currently judging so that forbids me from entering, would it be okay if I could hand over my position to someone else so I could enter? QuothTheRaven maybe? If it's too late then don't worry about it and I'll continue to judge.

well if you want to enter a song we have more then enough judges..you could just give up your spot as a judge if you want to. No problem

**Attention**

For reasons beyond my control(Midiman and motu fried) i am going to drop out of the competition.

But seeing as a judge (or 2 can't remeber) has dropped out i will become a judge.

Sorry for the inconvinence, but i will rejoin if my equipment works again.

yasuke wanna be a judge in my place?
i mean with only a few people entering i figured i'd only have to download a few track, 12 at the most ... but everyone is putting in multiple tracks - i dunno if can keept downloading all of these 4-5mb things.

add to that i don't really have a complete list of actually entered tracks, i'm just getting weblinks with music - when i'd like actual links to only the MP3's people are entering.

don't really have the time to waste sifting through sites and such just to find like 20bits of music

Raven: The reason for the weblinks is because the composers posted the descriptions on the webpages...they are supposed to include descriptions telling what kind of game the piece would be for, what type of cue it is, etc. etc....afterall, it is game music

Well, I got my computer back yesterday with high hopes. I got a chance to listen to the musical entries only once. My computer died again and the diagnostic people figured out that it is actually a much graver problem: the motherboard! Therefore, I no longer have a viable computer. Because of my father's layoff situation and my being tight on money, I cannot afford a new computer. The IMac I'm borrowing right now is a POS, and that includes it's speakers...

I'm afraid I will no longer be available to judge. I will also be unable to continue my darkbasic project for a very long time unless I win the lottery. Sorry...

well, it looks like im gonna hafta fill in the other empty judge slot.....the reason? well i was working on my song, had it almost complete, when my computer crashed...i THOUGHT i had saved the song, but apparently i didnt...so basically i lost the whole damn thing. and seeing as the deadline is at 5:00 i have no time at all to remake the song.

Oh well, at least i'll get to give advice to help the other composers

the deadline is in 12 minutes!
