ok heres my next attemp at making a game and i have screen shots.



The Story is......


Your are ___________(havn't thought of name yet.) And you wake up by this big bang and screaming. ZTo find out when you get to your living room that a swat person has killed your wife. and you kill the cop with your gun you hade stashed. to find out that hiseyes were all red and greyish like he was......Brainwashed. Still in progress. and i hope the screenshots work they should be in jpeg or w/e dats called.

Hmm. I think it is quite a good empty hallway, though the textures are a little blurry, making it not as good as the empty hallways from games such as half life two or portal (which had some very good empty hallways, perfectly capturing the oppressive laboratory atmosphere and the feeling of being alone in an unfamiliar place) but it is better than the empty hallways of early shooters such as doom, quake and unreal 1. To improve your empty hallway, I would re texture the ceiling (definitely) the walls (probably) and the floor (if I was bored) and make it less empty.

See, you can say quite a lot about an empty hallway!

There are no lights in those screenshots and they are really bland rooms with a couple of entities.

Don't be silly! It's obviously a laundrette! The name kinda gives that away...



As everyone has said, the screens are bland and not too pleasing to the eye. I think some good lighting would help alot, but please don't place random coloured lights in the rooms... Look at other games on this forum (the good ones) and notice how there is an actual structure to their lighting...

looks good,yet half of the room is empty,are you going to fight lot of brainwashed guys or what in there?You should add some entities on the empty hallway,and i am going to guess and say this game is horror.
Oh and where exaclty you are on this game? An abandoned building or in hell,cause this sofas right there and the fireplace sugests me you are on a alternate reallity(Or hell,or a hotel louge maybe...or both ). Just add more entities on empty places,as long as they make sense,i have the feeling i will play this game.
