HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO EARN £2500 in 6 weeks this summer?

Video Games Design

Picture this: An adventure holiday and summer camp, being away with lots of like minded people, working with young people on the most creative multimedia projects offered in the UK!

Is this you?

Fun loving, creative, adaptable and flexible, easy going, up for a challenge (a real one), articulate, open minded, wicked sense of humour, can teach and instruct, love working with kids…

Are you a resilient and hardworking person with a genuine interest and passion for video games production, with proven skills?

Your mission and role, should you choose to accept:

You will be facilitating short and structured starter media courses (week long) in music, film or video games making over a 6 week period in the summer (Mid – July to end of August)

You will be fully trained and initially work closely with RollingSound’s Head Tutors to ensure you are ready to teach and lead on the programmes.

You will be away on location for the entire 6 weeks, at two different sites (3 weeks in Shropshire and 3 weeks in Guildford). All of your travel, food and accommodation will be covered, allowing you to save money over the period.

Full teaching experience and qualifications not necessary (but will be an advantage), but you must be able to pass on substantial knowledge and teach at both formal and informal levels.

This is a great opportunity to get into a new career; some tutors from last year’s course now work on contracts with RollingSound throughout the year!

Skills required:
Video Games Production
• Good and solid knowledge of FPSC (there will be training)
• Also, knowledge of Dark Basic software would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of manipulating file systems in FPSC
• Proven skills in Photoshop
• Knowledge of Milkshape and Mya would are desirable
• Samples of work will be required at interview
You will be required to attend a 6 week (1 day per week) paid training before the course starts,

Start Date:
Training will commence in June 2008. On site induction will take place 3 days before the course starts (around the 17th July)

Method of Application
Email a copy of your CV and covering letter (include in the title Music/Film/Video Games Tutor for summer camp) to:

Ayobami@rollingsound.co.uk

Please do not call for information, we are only replying by email.

Deadline for submission: June 6th 2008

Note: Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

I have no idea what's going on but if it's authorized by TGC it gets a sticky.

Rolling Sound created Soul Control. The worlds first youth led game. I've had a little chat with them. Wish I was older than I am again.
