Hey Guitar Hero fans, I have a very special request. I don't know if something this specific can be fulfilled, but it never hurts to ask. I'm putting together a special presentation and I want to have a montage of video game clips set to music, every now and then switching back to the Guitar Hero footage. The song I want is Monsters by Matchbook Romance.

So, as you can see, while such videos exist on Youtube and I can use Youtube videos it's too low in quality and would look really ugly with my other high res videos.

Here are the terms of my challenge:

1. I'd like the song Monsters to be played on at least single player Medium, and played really well. I'd rather have a perfect Medium song than a jacked up Expert.

2. It is my hope and dream to get high quality video and sound, I imagine direct video capture rather than the usual 'point my mom's camcorder at the TV while my buddies cheer me on'

3. I'd prefer a female character for this, for various reasons. This girl is cool...


So, is this too much? Mad skill and awesome video capture capabilities? Let me know if you're up to it. Thanks all!!!

Not a lot of skills required to do well on medium. You can plug the video output from the console into a recording device to get perfect quality. I don't have the equipment required. Your best bet would be to make a request on the forum over at Score Hero

This isn't particularly important or interesting, but I just like to follow up.

I registered on the Score Hero forum and they linked me to some of the better Youtube videos. I contacted a person with a great video, NejiHyuuga777, and he re-recorded a perfect expert version of Monsters in high quality. I put together my video...



Of course, the version I'm going to use is 720x480 and looks amazing. Youtube chewed it up pretty badly.
