Hey guys!

I woke up this morning, and the first thing I do is turn on my computer to carry on with my kirby project.

Of course, everything works smoothly, when all of a sudden, I compile the program, and it says "Press f12 to exit or Escape to continue!". OK, so I press escape, and the DarkBasic CLI bar disappears. Seconds later it returns again with the same message! So I press escape again, and so on.

It seems that the escape key is caught in a loop.

It does this with every program, even after I restart the computer. Also, I can type something in like "Moof opdshekt at the spiid 2" and it doesnt detect any compilation error, it just says "Compilation successful"

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance, TheComet

Is there a break command in a loop?

A mod has been erased by your signature because it was larger than 600x120

Ok, Here is what exactly happened:

I complained about the enhancements on db 1.13, that would end in a trail of 30 days. I also couldn`t update DarkBasic to 1.14, until WindowsKiller sent me the executable DB.exe of v1.14. Great!, I thought, now I have v1.14!!

So, I installed 1.13 from a cd and got the version 1.14 (only the executable) per e-mail.

Today, DarkBasic 1.14 crashed and that stupid error from above occurred. So I uninstalled the whole thing, and re-installed it from the CD. So I lost 1.14, and am now back to 1.13.

Then something very weird happened: Not only does it still not work, the 30 day trial of enhancements that you usually get in 1.13, has loaded, and claims that I have downloaded the enhancements package!

I am very frustrated!!!!! The only person that could help me here, would be TDK. I think he understands about how DarkBasic works, what it writes to the registry, etc... Please help me here, TDK!

is it working now?

It is far better to complete a 10 line program than to start a 10,000 line program.

Jep, It is all working again!

But there is still one bug : When restarting darkbasic 1.13 after this error, it works again, but 1.14 wont work again until you remove it from the registry and computer and re-install everything...
