umm hi everyone i got one of the model packs and it came with a g3 i just wanted to know if i can make it single shot or not
and mods if this is in the wrong thread please move thank you
oh and also can i change the amount of damnage a gun can do?

MP6 comes with a sniper-rifle variant of itself, that's single-shot.

open up gunspec.txt for the weapon in gamecore\guns and comment out the line for "automatic fire" using ";".

ex:

start fire = A,B
automatic fire = B,C
end fire = C,D

change to...

start fire = A,B
;automatic fire = B,C
end fire = C,D

That will limit the weapon to semi-auto.

Yeah. You'll find that a few of the MP9/10 weapons have commented-out automatic fire. Likewise, things like the fists and katana can easily be made semi-auto.

lol well im making a MP map based of cod4 but i want a single fire g3 and i also need to lear how to upload a mp map but ya thanks for the help (even though i have no clue sitll) but thanks every one

long winded i know but,

load up where fps is, normally in program files

goto fps creator,
files/
gamecore/
guns/
model pack 5/
whatever weapon you want
gunspec (notepad file)(open with notepad)

change this to what errant wrote



that should do it

does gunspec literally mean gunspec, no abbreviation? I've figured it meant gun-specifications, though I've never edited one to find out...
