me again i hope im still in the right section i want to make a game based in iraq or afghanistan but i cnant find and charactors to play as iraqis or afghanistans and i dont know how to make teztures and help guys and 1 got any charactors on free release

You should search the forums for info on texturing. It's not that hard to re-texture. Just take some of the military characters and repaint their uniforms and skin tones. It all can be done with free open source tools.

gimp 2 is, photoshop is a lot of money. only for seriosu devs to be honest as it comes at a big price like 3dsmax 2008/9, but good and brill.

Get Paint.NET, and then add a few effect dll's.

It is open source, easy to use, and best of all FREE!

Paint.NET is what I used to add a thug shirt and change the color of the pants on Bond's 'Zombie2'. (Bond's Zombie is in the TGC store now!)
I layered a copy of the pants and another layer for the shirt.
Now I can quickly 'dye' his pants and shirt to any color combination by simply changing the color of those layers.
Note that I erased out the belt in the pants layer so that when I dye the pants I don't dye the belt that appears from the layer beneath. (orignial texture)

Learn to use dds converter and the clone tool on photoshop it will get you far.

Maybe he was, but you should see the glitter pants I have in the video I posted in the Zombie thread.

I did these test pants in two colors so I would know which one looked best in game.
These are original pants instead of just coloring Bonds pants like the other screenies.
Check 'em out...

I would offer to do some Iraq characters for you, but I am too busy right now texturing these Zombies for my new game.
I would let you have 'Abdul' and 'Ahmad' that I made for "The Hunt For Osama", but I can't because they are edited from the thug instead of originals.

lol im a mad scientest that cant spell but have made thousands of zombies to take over the world muhahahahahaha but lol some of them got some specil fellings for the others so you know
