From Team Ninja and Tomonobu Ikatgaki, comes Ninja Gaiden, the second in the Xbox version of this franchise. After playing the demo, I was with-drawn into its deep visuals, and great combat sequences. Just like the original you play as Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja of-which also appeared on DOA 4. The Demo shown great potential, I was impressed by it. I played Ninja Gaiden 1, but I lost interest because it was too hard, but now in Ninja Gaiden you have a automatic health restore, which I think is a great idea, but something great comes something bad, its done like the fighting game health system, loose to much the lesser health you can gain. The Demo has a snippet of the story, where Sonia a agent who is looking for Ryu, but after a little squabble in a store where she seek-ed to find info on Ryu's whereabouts, she was kidnapped by another Ninja Clan, for the whole demo you must go to the building of which she is being held. During you adventure to it, you go on a Chaotic Gore-fest. In Ninja Gaiden 2 you can chop off the arms, legs and heads of your enemies, the finishing moves can become repetitive, though watching Ryu stuff his Sword into a opposing enemy's neck and slice it through is enjoyable, but he repeats the same moves on each enemy. The weapons in the demo are of-course Ryu's Dragon Sword, a scythe and a set of claws and another weapon which is found during the demo. The graphics on the game are fantastic from the breast-physics on Sonia to the buildings, everything was enjoyable, lip-sync was realistic even when Ryu talked. If I were to sum up this in one word, I would say extraordinary, everything was perfected. The only thing I could say for improvement is that improve on the finisher maneuvers.
Now to sum it up from a 1-10 radius..
10/10
Overall: A great game in the making.

After all that, Itagaki is now both leaving and suing Tecmo. Something about promised bonuses not being paid. Read more here: http://kotaku.com/5012535/itagaki-leaving-tecmo-suing-tecmo. At least he went out on a high note.

Dude... You're kidding right? Simplifying Ninja Gaiden is like, a sin.

Well it doesn't mean that he is resigning all the way. As he is the Producer of Team Ninja not tecmo.Team Ninja is development team of-which made he DOA franchise, so I think Team Ninja may just go over to another Publishr for their games.(please not EA.lol JK) But Ninja Gaiden being the last is annoying. If I had a billion pounds I buy Tecmo, and ask Itagaki back, not only did he show us some of the best fighting games to date, he is also great at making games being Unique.

I'm pretty sure Tecmo owns Team Ninja.

I hate to be the guy who nitpicks, but this review has really bad grammar. Not the most well-written review I've ever read.

If it feels good, it's a sin.

I'm pretty sure Pus In Boots and Oolite were just offering some constructive criticism.

Okay, 10 out of 10's are reserved for the most elite of games, the top of the class that only occurs once or twice every decade (roughly). Unless the game was an absolute godsend, I think something in the 8 or 9 range would suit better.

Yes obviously he's kidding .

It's just another game, dude.

Yes, if it has been simplified it'll be "just another game". Sadly, I was looking forward to an extremely challenging game.

I posted this for people to discuss the game, not a whole idea of grammar in the first post.

Oh, bitch, bitch, bitch. If you can't take a little criticism from one writer to another (assuming you are) then don't post a review. I'm just used to seeing something that's written better when I see the word "review" crop up. Read a games magazine and compare theirs to yours. THAT's why I critised this.

Of course, you can go ahead and write about whatever game you like. Share your opinions, by all means. This is the internet. I just expect a higher quality of writing for this sort of thing.

As for the game, it's awesome but the camera lets it down, which is a shame.

If it feels good, it's a sin.

I'm not a writer, its my way of showing my ideas on Ninja Gaiden. And I can take Critism. You know what MODS lock and delete this stupid thread! I don't care..

Deathead\'s retort was not a green light for you to be a total jerkass. Granted he may have been a little overt, but you've moved from blunt critique to moronic degradation.

Sorry, who are you again? You are not here to expect anything of anyone. Your opinion is no higher than anyone else\'s, and is now much lower.

OK, I realise I'm coming across as a complete ass here. I never meant to put you down, I just thought it was odd that a review had poor grammar and stuff. My standards are high when it comes to this sort of thing, so you'll have to excuse my bluntness. After all, it was just a passing comment and not intended as a putdown, but now it's kicked off lets just patch it up before this li'l bitchslappin' contest attracts some unruly spectators. (or something like that)

Just to seal the deal, have an alien.

If it feels good, it's a sin.
