From Team Ninja and Tomonobu Ikatgaki, comes Ninja Gaiden, the second in the Xbox version of this franchise. After playing the demo, I was with-drawn into its deep visuals, and great combat sequences. Just like the original you play as Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja of-which also appeared on DOA 4. The Demo shown great potential, I was impressed by it. I played Ninja Gaiden 1, but I lost interest because it was too hard, but now in Ninja Gaiden you have a automatic health restore, which I think is a great idea, but something great comes something bad, its done like the fighting game health system, loose to much the lesser health you can gain. The Demo has a snippet of the story, where Sonia a agent who is looking for Ryu, but after a little squabble in a store where she seek-ed to find info on Ryu's whereabouts, she was kidnapped by another Ninja Clan, for the whole demo you must go to the building of which she is being held. During you adventure to it, you go on a Chaotic Gore-fest. In Ninja Gaiden 2 you can chop off the arms, legs and heads of your enemies, the finishing moves can become repetitive, though watching Ryu stuff his Sword into a opposing enemy's neck and slice it through is enjoyable, but he repeats the same moves on each enemy. The weapons in the demo are of-course Ryu's Dragon Sword, a scythe and a set of claws and another weapon which is found during the demo. The graphics on the game are fantastic from the breast-physics on Sonia to the buildings, everything was enjoyable, lip-sync was realistic even when Ryu talked. If I were to sum up this in one word, I would say extraordinary, everything was perfected. The only thing I could say for improvement is that improve on the finisher maneuvers.
Now to sum it up from a 1-10 radius..
10/10
Overall: A great game in the making.
