Which is better, anim8or or blender? and which is the easiest to get the hang of?

blender, although the UI is quite tricky, but pass it, and you got a free copy of 3dsmax in a totaly diffrent bundle.
anima8or, never used it.

anim8or is really easy but dosent always have the best results,
Try CB MODEL PRO its fun and easy oh and Free

uhm... no.
but blender is also for high poly moddeling aswell and rendering, pro's use it!

I use Anim8or, never really bothered to learn Blender, I did try CB Model Pro, but I don't really like it, because although it has a simple interface, I don't think it feels "solid", if you understand what I mean. Just try them all, and choose the one you like best!
I am already waiting to see some of your models!

I'm just learning Blender at the moment. Getting a thorough understanding of it definitely takes time and patience. On the positive side, it's a very powerful app, it's free, and there are loads of tutorials.

I like Milkshape, too. It's not free, but it's fairly easy to learn, I think. There's a trial version available.

I've tried a few other apps, but these are the two I like best so far. As others have said, best try out as many as you can and see what suits your way of working.

ac3d is by far the best modeling software out of the lot but it has no animation -_-
3dsmax £1500

ac3d £40 do the math ^_^

Really well he does the basics plus they are video tuts you should check them out, i never modeled anything good until i watched the tuts he has around 8 of them here is the link if you want to give them a second chance they're great plus if there is any questions im sure he wont mind telling you about it. here is the link

well if you want to know blender is alot more complex than you think (i hate my short attention span xD) anim8or is great for begginers but if you dont animate there is wings 3d (i use it) and its as simple as modeling can get... well cb model pro lags TONS for me so i dont use it
