Yo, whats up everyone. im just curious to know how many game devs on these forums live. in SLO county or in central coast California. I'd think that there are some because.
Cal Poly university is here as well as Luaras college witch specializes in game design.

California's too expensive for everyone, lol . I live in Texas where you can get a 2 story house and swimming pool for the the same amount of money you could get a 2 bedroom apartment in the LA area for.

Do you live near Vancouver by any chance? That sounds about right here. Minimum wage is $8.00, and I'm looking at a half a million bucks for a 2-bedroom condo

I don't even understand why you would want to live in a big city that costs that much . I would much rather have little traffic in a suburb with a 2 story house and pool than a 2 bedroom apartment it's faster to walk than drive.

Well all the jobs are in the cities. Besides in Minneapolis everything is connected by a large skyway system, apparently the biggest in the world haha (and I believe it, me and my friend were lost for hours in it once!) so once you get to the cities you can just walk everywhere.

A three bedroom brand new house in Uttoxeter is £180,000... because no one wants to live here.
