FPSC Classic Scripts / scripting help..not saving right

when i save a script as an fpi file, i go to my documents, then i click on the save file and it brings me directly to the notepad file. help please.

In case the hide known file's extension option is checked in Control Panel -> Folder settings -> View tab, then you should save the script with quotes in the name: "filename.fpi" otherwise notepad will save it in txt format.

You need to save the fpi file to:

C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\scriptbank

nvm i gotcha..i tried it..but now i cant pickup the weapon...what exactly do i do after i save it to there?

Have you read the Manual that came with FPSC? (its a PDF file in the Docs folder)
Reading that should help you alot.

Take note of the "Thread Subject Search" box at the bottom of the page.
It usually can lead you to the answers you need, and it keeps the forum cleaner by reducing the number of threads asking the same questions.

Also take note of the "Edit Post" link found below your avatar of your posts.
That will keep you from getting fussed at for double posting like you did above, and it keeps the threads clean.
