Hi, I don't have X10 yet (I have FPSC 1.09) and there is no manual online yet, so I have another question.

Does X10 let you have an "opening screen" before the game menu? Meaning, an opening credit image for your game? (Like the name of the game and the company that produced it)...Is there that option to add that when in final build game mode?

If not, are there plans to add that in a patch?

Thanks

Just the title page with menu.
You might want to check out the features of Phoenix.
I believe Fastburst is working on an X10 version. It
may give you the startup options you're looking for.

When it comes to building a game, there's little difference between X9 and X10. The map editor, preferences, and build are the same. There are just a few more parameters on entities that you can edit. And even then, I'm not sure you don't have them in X9 v1.10. The purpose of X10 is to take advantage of the DirectX 10 cards that are out. Other than that, X9 v1.10 probably has more features.

Adding a video for your game or company logo before the menu is really easy. In titlepage fpi, simply add to the top:

:state=0:video=MYVIDEO

But it has to be video as opposed to a jpg splash screen right? Or can you make it a jpg and control how long it is displayed?

Airslide, thanks so much for info.! How about just a .jpg, what would that code be?

If none known, then I know how to work around the title / video thing (editing wise).

Thanks
