Hello! I recently downloaded the entity creator and have been screwing around with it for some time now...after I figured out to get it to work, I decided to make a giant robot. To do so, I just used the textures and X file for the AI character and changed the scale of it to 500. The end result was a very large robot. My mind went wild, thinking of adding some sort of giant enemy as a boss for a level...after all, who doesn't love giant robots? I made a room, gave it a weapon, and then tested the level.

Immediately upon starting, I noticed a few different things. First of all, the robot was awful slow for something of its size. This I fixed just by jacking up the speed. The second thing I noticed was the shadow of the AI; it was way too small! The shadow was the appropriate size of the entity should I have kept the scale at 100. My second problem was that I couldn't harm the darn thing! I made it so that the shockwave decal would be the bot's "blood", but I never so much as saw one green wave. I fired at every square pixel of that thing with no result. I thought that maybe, since the shadow hadn't grown larger, that the field for registered hits for the AI hadn't grown either. So, I fired between its legs, where the shadow was, but still recieved no result. Please help!

I need to figure out to:

1) Increase the robot's shadow size.

2) Increase the area of which the entity would register my shots as a hit.

Thank you!

1) You can replace the default shadow texture in the FPSC files directory. Sorry cant remember where it is but you can make a new one which better suits the model.

2) You need to import the FPSC biped into a modelling program then scale the biped up to match the size of the larger character model. Both need to be in line with each other.

Buy one of Bond1's characters e.g. Ice Wizard and 'borrow' the script to give your boss multiple attacks i.e. close and long range.
