hello

I am still working on my game project...lol

I started to work on the project with someting like 1024/768 but then I figured out that my flat 19" is 5/4 and not 4/3 like was my old crt screen so I changed my project to 1280/1024...

but how will that display on a wide screen as now it's hard to find a non wide screen on the market

Ain't that a good idea for a new post?

you could check which resolutions are available on the computer with
Perform Checklist For Display Modes
or something, look it up in the help file.

It is far better to complete a 10 line program than to start a 10,000 line program.

Yeah, 640x480 with 16 color. When I program screen resolutions I always have it check to see if a high resolution is available and keep working it's way down until it gets the highest possible match, and then uses it. And, then I add an option in the game to allow the user to change the resolution to what they want, so long as it works on their computer.
