FPSC Classic Scripts / Is this possible?

Hi all,

Me and a few friend are currently starting our new project. The basics of it is that you start off in your house(already done) and i need to know if a few things are possible, and if they are, how hard would it be

1. You use a pc to view different targets(you are a hitman)
2. You can buy weapons from your pc

Number 2 i can do but i need to know if ut would be possible to buy weapons, and they stay in your house. I.E. You buy an m4, 2 missions later you still have it

Now my guess is that if its not impossible, its extremely hard.

Viewing targets on a PC would simply be setting up a bunch of overlaying HUDs and working them into a nicely laid "GUI" for the user to see and use.

Of course, this is going to go differently and you'll have different benefits depending on which version of FPSC you use.

Are you planning on having the player return to the house after each mission? If so, then I'd be more concerned about how you're going to pull that off, if I were you. As of right now, there's no way to do that without a Mod.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to ask with #2. Once you get a weapon, the player keeps that weapon until he/she starts a new game. It doesn't change when the player goes to new levels. (Not from my experience anyway)

Ply, what i meant was more like a "vault" if you like e.g. you buy a weapon, and it is stored there. So you could pickup your guns, then proceed to thnxt level.

I'm not sure but couldn't you use the global variables so when you buy a weapon on the computer it sets the variable and the appear script of the weapon checks the variable before spawning the weapon

Sounds like you just want to drop weapons, and pick up new ones.
It's just that you want to do it in a specific place. (vault)

i don't now if the global variable would stay the same sorry should have thought of that

would it be possible to have each weapon in a different segment and have trigger zones that increase a global variable by 1 and when it reaches 2 all the weapons get destroyed so you can only pick up 2 weapons and then next time your in the house you can pickup another weapon and so on
