Hi, i have a copy of FPS creator X10 but my old computer got a virus a while ago so i had to install Windows XP instead of Vista on the only computer with a decent graphics card "sigh"

but i was wondering if i could import the x10 chugshot into X9 and if i could, how hard would it be? would it be a case of importing the gamecore/guns and entitybank/scifi/items folders or would i need to do anything else?

I been bad.

i did a search, but i still dont know what files are required for the gun, ive only imported the entitybank/scifi/items and gamecore/guns folders and merged them with the X9 files would i need anything else? because the gun shoots a faint white square similar to the model pack 9 and 10 weapons on V1

EDIT: What, all of them?

I been bad.

well yeah i put all files from x10 into x9, i had all media working

enitites
meshbank
textures
script

Not sure why a virus caused you to go to XP.
There have been more viruses on XP than Vista.

You can have 70% of all the x10 file's in x9
I have all the x10 char's and room's in x9 an they work good

As you can see here ann x9 screen shot's
Edit: i even got the music zone to work in x9

Well vista is one big virus to me I hate it hate it HATE IT the only good thing bout vista is the ditectx10 other then that IT SUCK'S

Heh, you can see how much the shaders really enhance the characters in X10 when running them through X9. I wish we could get some decent normalmapping w/ specularity into X9, but then it'd probably have to be hard-coded, since the current shaders can't work with the lightmapper properly.

Wow, I can't believe how bad the X10 stuff looks in X9.
The Chug isn't so horrible, but the characters and segments. Eww!
