I mean are there more boards than that? Cause I dont see any others.

And geri, I dont know what you just said.
I would buy it but I am a student and dont have any source of income. I dont want to spend 100 dollars on a program to make games that I wont even charge a cent for. Not very wise decision.

As far as I'm concerned, Geri can get lost as pirates are not welcome here and why is it that everyone has to make money from writing games. Just buy it and program as a hobby. If you are good enough, maybe in a year or so you will be good enough to charge.

Darkbasic Pro is the Pro forum. Darkbasic is the original DB forum. Not that obvious now, but remember that most of us just had a Darkbasic forum, and then the Pro forum came along later.

Cheers

Wow, is it that hard to get a job?

It's not about the money, it's about the fun and satisfaction of making a game. And if you do make a good game, there have been a couple db/dbp games that have been sold comercially, and I can almost guarentee they made more than $100.

It's your decision.

Yellow:Wanna publish my game microsoft, cuz i no u rich so...Can I have my bag of money now?
Microsoft: *snicker* Tip of the month-Microsoft will never(probebly) publish your game.

Join the club. I have no source of income and I still bought it. I saved up for a while. And who says you won't sell it? It is perfectly legal to sell DB games. Even if you don't sell your games, it is still worth it. I have learned so much about computers and programming from DB and hanging around the forums. It is better to save up more and buy DBPro. It's worth the extra money. Don't listen to Geri.

@Geri: I doubt Rich would send you a free compiler after announcing so publicly that you have an illegal version of DBv1.08. If you cant even dedicate yourself to getting some money to by DB/Pro, I wonder how much time you spend at making games before your determination weakens.

Whatever I did I didn't do it!

I think the evidence points it self out, if you have cracked a retail program(in hungary or not) you are creating a crime under the ruling of piracy(not sure of my wording). You are taking buisness away from the retailer, it is the same as if you were to DL the warez version off of kazaa(its there, that how my friend got it, long story short, i fried his PC).

Hmmmm and why in your right mind would you announce in public that you cracked this DBC, kinda weird seeing as you are liable to a few hefty fines.

@Sukotsu: My comment wasnt particularly aimed at you, but more at Geri, as he obviously put no attempt into getting moneye together to buy the product. And I can believe its hard to get a job in some places, and being a student doesnt leave a lot of time for working anyway.

I cannot get $100 easily, cause i am a student i am meant to study. Also all the jobs are crap.

I mean, toilet cleaner needed, payed per toilet. Nope. I found a few good ones, but there were catches, i.e. Shelf Stacker, 3AM to 6AM @ 24hour store, bring own step ladder.
