Newcomers DBPro Corner / BSP loading help

I'm currently making a small simple racing game. I try to load the race track's BSP file, but all it does it open to a black screen and freeze the program...

he's the BSP load code I used...(load bsp...)

I personally dont like using .bsp files for maps. If possible, save in either .X or .DBO, as they are easier to work with.

You fool! And by the way, BSPs are one of my favorite ways to make a map.

Ugh...it still isn't working...Could it be that it is loading, and if so, could somebody direct me to a tutorial for making a loading screen?

Yeah, BSPs can take a bit to load. Look at the FPS Tutorial in the DBPro help, it uses a BSP.

ugh...even after adding a loading text...it still froze..I didn't expect the loading text to fix anything, but it didn't even show up..the program just freezes.

Yeah, i tried that also, and the showcase example in the DB help. it was even a small BSP file and it would just freeze.
