Ha! i bet all of you thought i had some kind of new blood pack up for downloading. Nope. lol

I just figured id let everyone know.

I decided to pick up EFX the other day to test it out

and whilst i was making a map i decided to use some blood entitys from my ole' pack.
And well take a gander at the screenshot

i dont know if nighthawk had intended on doing overlay transparency updates but either way

the blood in my old blood pack is coming out 100% clearer, can you say no more black lines? i can.

Anyways if the new members dont have any clue about what im talking about * my blood pack* ill post a direct link to it so all of you can try it out xD.

(I say 15-25 becuase i cant remember exactly how many i made, becuase i made them about a year or so ago.)

Yes but little to none. You can see black lines on 1 splat on that first picture. And thats becuase its a really complicated blood splat.
please remember ive done NO extra work to this. I just figured i should inform everyone that the pack looks ALOT better with EFX (also nighthawk has nothing to do with me creating this thread xD)

I think Nighthawk intentionally recoded the way that FPSC handles transparency to make it slightly better. But alpha-transparent overlays have always worked without black lines, just set them to dynamic and immobile and normal FPSC will handle them properly.

Your big has been erased by a signature because it was too mod.

efxMod 1.56+ has even a better transparency system
(You could use blood decals or whatever you want even without decals, on normal entities - looks even better)

Maybe you can post some comparison screenshots (FPSC normal <-> efxMod)

Anyways, good work and keep it up
