The date for Dusmania 10 has been set: during July 19-20, 2008 keen indy game developers will be able to meet professionals from the games industry in Rodgau/Nieder-Roden, Germany.
Every year Dusmania offers indy game developers the opportunity to meet professional games developers. The aim of the event is to encourage young developers early on and to build a network that will allow both parties to access valuable and interesting resources.
In previous years this initiative has often enabled talented young developers to embark on a career in the games industry.
Apart from the organizers, many renowned members of the games industry who want to pass on their experience to young developers also attend the event. Participants can talk to the industry players direct during the scheduled discussion sessions to gain valuable information and insights.
The traditional “Overnight Contest” will be held again this year as well as the selection of the “Best Hobby Project”!
The number of attendees has risen steadily since the first Dusmania in 1999; over 250 young hopefuls came to Nieder-Roden in 2006 to exchange experiences and expertise.
